Cindy has been invited to a number of speaking events. These range from author events, book clubs, college classes, women's retreats and her own retreats with her husband, Herm Weaver. She prefers to think of these events as explorations and taking a journey with others rather than "speaking" at people. A space where we can all grow together.

Eastern Mennonite University
I have been honored to have a class at Eastern Mennonite University use my book and my experience as a back-drop for their work. The class was a Senior Seminar on "Dealing with Suffering and Loss." I cannot imagine facing these heart-wrenching life events and issues when I was in college. Suffering and pain were so hidden from me and such a missing part of my education. I have such great admiration for these students and their professors.
